Manufacturing Software Experts
SaaS platform development, modernization, and long-term stewardship for discrete and process manufacturers, and the MES, quality, and ERP vendors that serve them.
PALADEM designs and modernizes SaaS platforms across manufacturing execution (MES), quality management, production scheduling, shop-floor data and OEE analytics, and maintenance and reliability. Our manufacturing software experts build the platforms operators, supervisors, quality engineers, schedulers, and reliability teams use every shift: work order dispatch, traceability, quality holds, OPC UA and MQTT data capture, and the integrations that tie them to ERP, PLM, and SCADA. We treat manufacturing platforms as long-lived operational assets, not one-time deliverables.
Sub-sectors We Have Worked Across
Each sub-sector carries its own operational tempo, data model, and regulatory surface. Our experience spans the set below, which lets us reuse proven platform primitives while respecting the details that differ from one manufacturing discipline to the next.
Manufacturing Execution (MES)
Work order dispatch, operator guidance, data collection, and as-built traceability across discrete and process flows. We design MES platforms so new lines, cells, or products can be added through configuration rather than code, and so the as-built record is preserved for every unit.
Quality & Compliance
In-process inspection, nonconformance, corrective and preventive action, supplier quality, and the audit trails regulators expect to see. We treat quality as part of the work order lifecycle, not a parallel system, so holds and dispositions land in the same flow as production.
Production Scheduling & Planning
Finite scheduling, constraint modeling, and shift-level sequencing that reflects setups, changeovers, and material availability. We design the scheduling layer so planners can move work visually while the platform respects hard constraints underneath.
Shop-Floor Data & OEE
High-resolution event capture from machines and operators, rolled into OEE, first-pass yield, scrap, and downtime reason analytics. We design the data layer so the raw event stream is preserved, which lets new metrics and cuts be added without reinstrumenting the plant.
Maintenance & Reliability (CMMS)
Preventive and condition-based maintenance, work order execution, spare parts inventory, and reliability analytics against the same asset model the shop floor uses. We tie CMMS signals to production events so downtime reasons and mean-time-between-failure are measured against real machine behavior.
Our Manufacturing Software Services
Custom Manufacturing SaaS Development
We design and build MES, quality, scheduling, and shop-floor SaaS platforms end to end, from initial architecture through production deployment. Our engagements target the long-lived core of the platform: the work order, traceability, quality, and data-capture layers that the plant depends on for a decade or more.
Legacy Platform Modernization
Manufacturing platforms rarely tolerate a big-bang rewrite because the plant cannot stop. We use incremental modernization to stabilize the existing system, carve the surface area into bounded modules, and migrate line by line behind feature flags. Operators and supervisors keep working while the platform moves forward.
Integration Architecture
Manufacturing platforms live inside an ecosystem of ERP, PLM, SCADA, PLCs, historians, quality tools, and reliability systems. We design the integration layer so each external system can be swapped or extended without rewriting business logic, including the OPC UA, MQTT, and file-drop adapters that shop-floor data typically arrives through.
Compliance-Aware Data Design
FDA 21 CFR Part 11 electronic records and signatures, ITAR and EAR controlled data, ISO 9001 document control, and customer-specific quality agreements all sit on top of every unit produced. We design the data model, access controls, and audit trail to carry compliance obligations by default, which keeps the platform defensible as regulations and customer requirements evolve.
Platform Stewardship & Support
We offer long-term stewardship for production manufacturing platforms: dependency upgrades, security patching, performance tuning, incident response, and feature work. Our stewardship engagements are sized to the real surface area of your codebase rather than a fixed retainer that drifts out of alignment with reality.
Run Your Manufacturing Operation on PALADEM Platforms
When a manufacturer needs working software now rather than a full custom build, we offer three productized platforms under the PALADEM brand that line up with the reality of a production business: distributor and B2B sales marketing, the manufacturing operation itself, and B2B accounts receivable.
PALADEM Scale for Manufacturing, MRP, BOM & Shop Floor
Our customizable ERP platform gives manufacturers a single integrated system for bills of materials, MRP and work orders, inventory across raw materials and WIP and finished goods, shop-floor execution, quality control, purchasing, accounting, and supplier collaboration. We configure the Scale platform to the plant's real workflows rather than asking the operation to contort around generic ERP defaults. This is the productized flagship for manufacturing-heavy engagements.
PALADEM Grow for B2B Sales Pipeline & Distributor Marketing
PALADEM Grow covers B2B lead-capture funnels for OEM and distributor audiences, territory-based sales pipelines, distributor onboarding and portal communication, trade-show follow-up automation, and AI voice agents for inbound product-line inquiries. The platform is pre-wired for long-cycle B2B sales motions.
PALADEM Collect for B2B Accounts Receivable & Net-Term Billing
Our unified payment processing and gateway platform handles B2B money flows with the structure that commercial invoicing actually needs: hosted payment pages tied to invoices, ACH and card for net-term AR, customer self-service portals for open balances, and recurring billing for supply contracts. Hosted fields keep payment data out of the manufacturer's general infrastructure.
Custom Software When Productized Platforms Fall Short
Productized platforms cover common manufacturing patterns well, but plants often carry MES integrations, equipment telemetry, EDI to customers and suppliers, industry-specific quality and regulatory reporting, or specialty pricing engines that fall outside those patterns. When that happens, we build custom software from the ground up under our Software Stewardship Framework™ so the custom work is a long-lived asset rather than a one-time script.
Why PALADEM?
- Built for Manufacturing’s Long Horizon. MES and quality systems live on the shop floor for years, carrying every lot, unit, and audit trail. We design for that horizon, not for the launch demo.
- US-Based Architecture, Global Delivery. Senior US architects lead every engagement, supported by a global engineering team for efficient, cost-effective delivery. See our full services for how we structure engagements.
- Software Stewardship Approach. Every engagement is guided by our Software Stewardship Framework™, which treats your platform as a long-lived asset to be cared for across all eight stewardship pillars rather than a one-time deliverable.

What kinds of manufacturing platforms has PALADEM built software for?
PALADEM designs and modernizes SaaS platforms across manufacturing execution (MES), quality management, production scheduling and planning, shop-floor data and OEE analytics, and maintenance and reliability (CMMS). Our engagements cover both discrete and process manufacturing, and the MES, quality, and ERP vendors that serve them. The shared thread is the platform software that carries every work order, lot, unit, and audit trail through the plant.
How do you handle regulatory traceability (FDA 21 CFR Part 11, ITAR/EAR, ISO 9001)?
Traceability is a first-class design concern, not a late-stage checklist. We build immutable audit trails, electronic signature workflows that meet 21 CFR Part 11 expectations, and access controls that enforce least privilege on controlled data. For ITAR and EAR, we segment the data surface so controlled technical data lives in a bounded environment with its own access rules. ISO 9001 obligations (document control, corrective action, nonconformance) are modeled as first-class entities rather than attached reports. This work falls under our Security Stewardship and Business Stewardship pillars.
Can you modernize a legacy MES without stopping production?
Yes. A running plant cannot tolerate a big-bang cutover. We use incremental, line-by-line migration: we stabilize the existing system, carve the surface area into bounded modules (work orders, dispatch, data collection, quality, traceability), and migrate lines or cells behind feature flags. Shadow data capture runs the new path in parallel against real shop-floor activity until it is proven, consistent with our Engineering Stewardship pillar.
Do you integrate with ERPs, PLCs, and IoT / SCADA systems?
Yes. MES and quality platforms rarely live in isolation. Our ERP connectors handle work orders, inventory, labor, and cost reporting against systems like SAP, Oracle, and mid-market tier platforms. For shop-floor signals, we use OPC UA and MQTT to reach PLCs and SCADA gateways, with an edge layer that normalizes tags and buffers against network interruptions. The integration layer is designed so each protocol or system can be swapped or extended without touching business logic.
Can you build the analytics and reporting layer on top of shop-floor data?
Yes. We capture shop-floor activity as a normalized event stream, persist high-resolution data in a time-series warehouse, and roll up OEE, scrap, first-pass yield, and downtime reasons into role-scoped dashboards. Operators, supervisors, plant managers, and corporate each see the cut of the data that serves their decisions. Because the underlying event stream is preserved, new metrics can be added without reinstrumenting the plant.
