Logistics & Warehousing Software Experts
SaaS platform development, modernization, and long-term stewardship for 3PLs, freight brokers, distributors, and the warehouse and transportation teams that keep goods moving.
PALADEM designs and modernizes SaaS platforms across warehouse management, transportation management, order and fulfillment, freight brokerage visibility, and labor and slotting optimization. Our logistics software experts build the platforms that warehouse associates, dispatchers, planners, brokers, and partners use every shift: inbound and outbound flows, wave and load planning, real-time visibility, carrier and ELD connectivity, and the integrations that tie them to OMS, ERP, and e-commerce channels. We treat logistics platforms as long-lived operational assets, not one-time deliverables.
Sub-sectors We Have Worked Across
Each sub-sector carries its own operational tempo, data model, and integration landscape. Our experience spans the set below, which lets us reuse proven platform primitives while respecting the details that differ from one logistics discipline to the next.
Warehouse Management (WMS)
Inbound, putaway, slotting, picking, packing, and outbound workflows built around a clear data model of SKUs, locations, and waves. We design WMS platforms so that a second shift, a new cross-dock lane, or a new client onboarding does not require a code change.
Transportation Management (TMS)
Load planning, tendering, rating, dispatch, and settlement for shippers and carriers. We model lanes, trailers, drivers, and appointments as first-class entities so the platform supports LTL, truckload, and parcel flows without forking the codebase.
Order & Fulfillment
Order orchestration across channels, inventory reservation, pick-wave generation, and shipment confirmation. We design the order path so a single SKU, order, or shipment can be traced end to end without stitching logs together after the fact.
Freight Brokerage & Visibility
Brokerage platforms covering load building, carrier matching, rate confirmations, and real-time shipment visibility. We design the visibility layer to pull from ELD, carrier API, and EDI status signals into a single event stream shippers and customers can trust.
Labor & Slotting Optimization
Labor standards, engineered rates, and slotting logic that drive how hours and velocity are spent on the floor. We design the optimization layer so slotting rules, labor incentives, and shift balancing live in configuration rather than hard-coded paths.
Our Logistics Software Services
Custom Logistics SaaS Development
We design and build WMS, TMS, and fulfillment SaaS platforms end to end, from initial architecture through production deployment. Our engagements target the long-lived core of the platform: the order, load, inventory, and settlement layers that the operation depends on for a decade or more.
Legacy Platform Modernization
Logistics platforms rarely tolerate a big-bang rewrite because receiving, shipping, and dispatch run on continuous shifts. We use incremental modernization to stabilize the existing system, carve the surface area into bounded modules, and migrate module by module behind feature flags. Warehouse and transportation teams keep working while the platform moves forward.
Integration Architecture
Logistics platforms live inside an ecosystem of carrier APIs, EDI trading partners, ELD providers, OMS and ERP systems, e-commerce channels, and shipping rate engines. We design the integration layer so each external system can be swapped or extended without rewriting business logic.
Compliance-Aware Data Design
DOT and FMCSA obligations, HazMat classification, C-TPAT attributes, import and export data, and customer-specific SLAs all sit on top of every shipment. We design the data model, access controls, and audit trail to carry compliance obligations by default, which keeps the platform defensible as regulations and customer requirements evolve.
Platform Stewardship & Support
We offer long-term stewardship for production logistics platforms: dependency upgrades, security patching, performance tuning, incident response, and feature work. Our stewardship engagements are sized to the real surface area of your codebase rather than a fixed retainer that drifts out of alignment with reality.
Run Your Logistics Operation on PALADEM Platforms
When a 3PL, freight broker, or warehouse operator needs working software now rather than a full custom build, we offer three productized platforms under the PALADEM brand that line up with the reality of a logistics business: the shipper-facing sales surface, the operation itself, and freight and storage AR.
PALADEM Scale for Warehouse, Inventory, Fleet & Shipping Operations
Our customizable ERP platform gives logistics operators a single system for warehouse operations, multi-location inventory, barcode-driven receiving and picking, fleet and vehicle management, shipping and carrier integrations, purchasing, and accounting. We configure the Scale platform to the operator's real workflows rather than asking it to contort around generic defaults.
PALADEM Grow for Customer Acquisition in 3PL & Freight
PALADEM Grow covers shipper and freight-customer lead capture, quote-request funnels, rep territory pipelines, onboarding automation for new shippers, and AI voice agents for inbound load and capacity questions. The platform is pre-wired for consultative B2B sales motions and multi-touch nurture.
PALADEM Collect for Freight & Recurring Storage Billing
Our unified payment processing and gateway platform handles logistics money flows: freight-bill pay, recurring storage and service-level invoicing, accessorial and detention billing, and shipper portal payments. Hosted payment pages, ACH, and card tokenization give operators a consolidated AR surface rather than a patchwork of merchant accounts and portal logins.
Custom Software When Productized Platforms Fall Short
Productized platforms cover common logistics patterns well, but operators often carry EDI and API integrations with carriers and customers, WMS and TMS customizations, rate-engine logic, or yard-management workflows that fall outside those patterns. When that happens, we build custom software from the ground up under our Software Stewardship Framework™ so the custom work is a long-lived asset rather than a one-time script.
Why PALADEM?
- Built for Logistics’ Long Horizon. WMS, TMS, and fulfillment platforms run continuous shifts for years and carry every SKU, trailer, and invoice. We design for that horizon, not for the launch demo.
- US-Based Architecture, Global Delivery. Senior US architects lead every engagement, supported by a global engineering team for efficient, cost-effective delivery. See our full services for how we structure engagements.
- Software Stewardship Approach. Every engagement is guided by our Software Stewardship Framework™, which treats your platform as a long-lived asset to be cared for across all eight stewardship pillars rather than a one-time deliverable.

What kinds of logistics platforms has PALADEM built software for?
PALADEM designs and modernizes SaaS platforms across warehouse management, transportation management, order and fulfillment, 3PL operations, and freight brokerage visibility. Our engagements focus on the operator-facing and partner-facing software that runs a distribution network every day, rather than carrier telematics hardware or physical automation controllers. The shared thread is platform software that ties SKUs, trailers, lanes, and invoices together.
How do you handle carrier integrations (EDI, APIs, ELD)?
We design a normalized carrier abstraction so that each carrier, broker, or partner connection lives behind a stable internal contract. EDI X12 translators handle 204, 214, 990, 210, and the common freight and fulfillment transaction sets. REST and webhook layers handle modern carrier APIs for rating, tendering, tracking, and documents. ELD and telematics hooks feed driver, location, and hours-of-service data into the same event stream. When a carrier or standard changes, the work stays at the edge of the system rather than rippling through business logic.
How do you handle compliance (DOT/FMCSA, C-TPAT, HazMat)?
Compliance is a first-class design concern, not a late-stage checklist. We build a compliance-aware data model that carries driver qualifications, cargo classifications, HazMat placarding, and C-TPAT security attributes from origin through delivery. Auditable access and immutable event logs support DOT and FMCSA inquiries without scavenger hunts across systems. This work falls under our Security Stewardship and Business Stewardship pillars.
Can you modernize a legacy WMS without stopping receiving and shipping?
Yes. A warehouse cannot tolerate a big-bang cutover because receiving, picking, and shipping run on continuous shifts. We use incremental, wave-by-wave migration: we stabilize the existing system, carve the surface area into bounded modules (inbound, putaway, slotting, picking, packing, outbound), and migrate waves behind feature flags. Shadow traffic runs the new path in parallel until it is proven, consistent with our Engineering Stewardship pillar.
Do you integrate with e-commerce platforms and ERPs?
Yes. Logistics platforms rarely live in isolation. Our integrations typically include OMS and ERP connectors (work orders, purchase orders, inventory, billing), e-commerce connectors for Shopify, BigCommerce, and marketplace channels, real-time inventory sync, and shipping rate shopping. We design the integration layer as a pluggable set of adapters so a new channel or ERP can be added without rewriting the core platform.
